SAFETY IS AT THE CORE OF EVERYTHING WE DO.

Fostering safe behaviors and work practices, we start each day with the health and safety of our employees, customers, and communities where we work in mind.

  • We utilize a comprehensive, company-wide electronic safety management system for standardization across our locations and lines of service. This ensures accurate and timely monitoring and reporting of safety training, equipment inspections, incident reports, compliance reports, and other safety-related documentation.
  • We review safety procedures and incident reports regularly to identify areas for improvement and take proactive measures to enhance safety.
  • Our team completes jobsite risk assessments daily, commonly known as Job Hazard Analyses and Job Safety Analyses. We conduct thorough risk assessments for each project site to identify potential hazards and develop appropriate mitigation measures. Our teams are well trained to identify when these analyses should be done just, not once, but multiple times a day to keep our jobsites safe.
  • At EIS, every employee has a right to STOP WORK.

Raising All the Standards.

We consistently hold an EMR below 1.0 at EIS and across our Family of Companies.

A proactive and prepared environmental remediation crew translates into a safe jobsite.

EIS holds and maintains an exceptional EMR, continuing to raise the standards on safety.

Experienced Environmental Crews:

  • Supervisors hold a 40-hour EPA-NESHAP accreditation.
  • Field supervisors and technicians are fully licensed and have significant safety training and the latest techniques to keep projects running safely, on time, and on budget.
    • OSHA 10 Authorization
    • OSHA 30 Authorization
  • We provide comprehensive employee training, including safety protocols, proper equipment handling, emergency procedures, and environmental regulations.
  • On every jobsite, we require the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, safety goggles, hard hats, and respirators when handling hazardous materials or performing potentially dangerous tasks.
  • Our teams are ERailSafe certified, required by the railroad to meet the U.S. Department of Homeland Security requirements.
  • Crews are E-Verified and meet employment eligibility guidelines per the Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

REGISTRATIONS & ACCREDIDATIONS

Our Family of Companies, individually hold exceptional registration statuses with various third-party risk management companies.

Their pride in educating their TEAM members with a top-notch safety culture gives me, as a Leader, the comfort knowing they will always strive to do the right thing and ask questions if they don’t have the answers they need. They understand that communication is key to a successful project and even more so to a long-lasting partnership.
